This series of artwork was created with code that generates a set of random shapes, nudged nicely to represent the sun, clouds, birds, and the earth.

In a world of art created by AI, this isn’t AI. This is math, randomness, and the input of a human to decide when a composition is ‘complete’.  With a set of limited possible adjustments, there are limitless possibilities. When do you say, “There! It’s done!”? For me and these shapes, it’s when it kind of looks like a walk on the beach with my wife and our dog, like a good memory, or a memory that I want to have.

The ~Skyscape Composer~, is available to use for free; it outputs roughly 5x7” svg vector art that you can save and print yourself. Make some holiday cards, and maybe send us one:)

You can also order an archival pen-plot of your unique masterpiece directly from the Skyscape Composer- I will jump into action and manifest our collaborative artifact on super nice paper with fancy pens and send it out, right after coffee.

So there’s the concept for this year- let’s collaborate on a unique one-of-one piece of art! You make the composition, I’ll produce it and mail it to ya, and we can say “we did that together!”✌️
